Alvaro Claver - Visual Effects Artist

I am a Canadian Lead VFX Artist, specialized in texturing and lookdev for films, currently living in Vancouver. I'm also an in-campus instructor and mentor at Think Tank Training Centre where I teach how to digitally paint and render assets and characters with an emphasis in production quality for film.

Classically trained in Fine Arts, my background includes working as cameraman, photographer, photography director, video editor and paparazzi. I have traveled around the world several times shooting documentaries and eating tasty food. So far I have lived in 5 different countries and made bad jokes in every single one of them.

Fun facts:  Originally from Madrid, Spain, ​ I'm also a drummer, photographer and a metal head. Oh, and I also like funny looking birds. Specially chickens. Chickens are awesome. Puk Puk Pukaaak!
